It’s a New Year and the time when people make resolutions for the year to come. For some people these may revolve around losing weight, taking up a new hobby or giving something up. But why not make your resolution more interesting? It will be much easier to keep a resolution that will be fun to do and that you will enjoy.
One thing to consider would be to go on more interesting holidays beyond the usual seven days in the sun sat by the pool. Why not head to new places and take on new activities whilst away? Below are a few ideas to spice up your holidays in 2013 and finally keep a New Year’s resolution!
Skiing in France
Used to going to France for a week on the beach or in a nice little town in the country? Well why not change things up this year and take on some skiing in the French Alps or the Pyrenees? France has some of the best skiing in the world, and a ski holiday can be one of the most exhilarating trips out there. It’s also perfect for the whole family, so you can take the whole clan out there if you have one. Spend the days working the slopes on skis or snowboarding, before relaxing with some après-ski and then curling up in a warm, luxury catered ski chalet with everything you could wish for at your fingertips. Push the boat out and go for a ski holiday; you might end up never doing anything else…
Concert Tour in Vienna
You don’t have to choose a sporting holiday which makes you break a sweat to do something different on your holidays. It could just be that you choose to do something slightly different and take your break on a tour with like-minded people. One great example of this is going on a concert tour in Vienna, where you can head out to this beautiful city and not just wander the streets, but get access to some of the most exclusive concerts and shows on offer. These aren’t the kind of thing you could wander in and get tickets for off the street. However, by travelling with a group of other enthusiasts and a well connected tour operator you can find yourself in musical extravaganzas and sold out shows every night of your trip.
Golf Holidays in Turkey
When you think of a golf holiday, you might associate it with a man’s trip abroad with his friends. However, golf resorts are catering more and more for family breaks, offering fantastic spa facilities and other entertainment for those that don’t fancy spending all day on the golf course. Likewise, Turkey might not spring to mind as the top golfing destination in the world, but it is a really up and coming area with some fantastic courses and golf resorts. Golf hotels in Turkey, in particular in the Belek area, are some of the best in Europe. You can then combine your golf holiday with visits to spectacular places like the city life of Istanbul or the breathtaking rock formations in Capadoccia and create a dream holiday!
There are just a few ideas which we love. What better thing to resolve to do in 2013 than to have the holiday of a lifetime!
