It is not strange for anyone to decide on this trip – especially if you read all of these travel guides written for Indonesia and especially for Bali. If you are in Southeast Asia for the first time and this is your first destination, you are impressed.
But let’s take things from the beginning:
Your flight arrives at Jakarta late at noon. It is unknown how much you will spend on issuing a visa from half to three hours if you are unlucky maybe more. For the issue, you will give a 20-euro and you will get a little rump. You do not risk shutting the flight the same night for either Yogyakarta or Surabaya. If you do, and you choose Air Asia, you know you have to change the finish line, go to 3, and if you hurry you may have to pay up to 15 euros for a three-kilometer journey. There is no signage at the airport until to find where you left you will be afflicted.
So, after you want to stay in Jakarta, it’s best to get a Bluebird taxi, all in blue and go to the city center. The cost is about 20 euros and lasting up to an hour depending on the traffic. There are many options if you want to choose a cheap and luxury spa Jakarta hotel. The hotel must be in a great location, with the bus stop nearby. Most of the hotels, however offer massages for about $ 15 per hour.
If you have time, you can visit Batavia and the old harbor with the huge boats on the same day, great scenery for photos. You can go and walk and get “smell” from the city. If you stay until sunset, do not go back to business. Only by taxi.
Jakarta has the reputation of a bad and dangerous city. That’s not so true. You can devote two more days to see all the imposing sights of the city.
After you sense the feeling of Jakarta you can depart for Yogyakarta either by train or by plane. You can fly with all the big companies that have been flying like that Garuda, Air Asia, Lion Air. Air Asia is the cheapest and most reliable. The best thing to do is to stay in Yogyakarta for 4 days. The next day you can take a day trip including Borobudur, the Merapi Volcano and the dunes to the south with Parangtritis beach. In the evening, you can go to the Sultan’s ballet show at Prambanan. The cost is about 30 dollars and the price includes coffee snacks in the theater.
The next day, you can visit the Dieng Plateau. If you leave, you can go to Surabaya, visiting Prambanan in the morning and then on Surakartaak’s Road. The route may seem difficult and tiring. In Surabaya you can stay in a hotel in the beautiful old town where you can make a wonderful night walk.
The next day you can visit the volcano of Bromo. A small detour is required to visit a private beautiful park – zoo, where car and animal traffic are free but you see everything. It really is worth it.
The next day, you can go to the volcano and visit the crater, walking on the rim is a unique experience. If you are engaged in sports, the 250 vertical steps will probably not make you particularly difficult.
Returning from the volcano, you can go to Mount Ijen, the other volcano to the east, which is much better. You will probably need 2 nights.
From here you can go to Banyuwangi (Ketapan) from where you will take the ferry to Bali. If you do not go to Ijen, you can come back from Bromo to Surabaya and fly from there to Bali.
In Bali it is better to stay at least one hotel for the first week until you learn the area. You will have it as a starting point for your excursions. You will go to the south, of course, and depending on how much you will like and how much you stay there, you have the options for further.
You can, for example, get Gilli Trawangan fast, take the roundabout (two and a half hours), go on Gilli Air the same day and end up with the boat on the line in front of Lombok and Senggigi for accommodation. For Lobok I do not think it will take more than 5 days. Even if you do not ride to Rizjani, it is worth going to the village from where the climbing route starts (9 hours) and take a swim in the waterfall. it’s up to you to take a three-day cruise to Comodo in Rinca to see the famous dragons and flying foxes in the evening. The most memorable point of this cruise is the Misa Island with the gypsies of the sea. Trans Nisha flies from Denpasar for Labuanbajo.
If you want something more “wild west,ยป, even though you are on the east, then you will devote more time to Flores and Subawa.Of all the places above, however, the cheaper of all of them is Java and it is more interesting than Bali and Lombok and the Jabanians are the most friendly of all.
